Compliance Officer: 

NEW YORK

In this role, you’ll support the Ethics & Compliance Internal Misconduct Investigations program, coordinating, documenting, advising, and monitoring compliance obligations. Responsibilities:
 
Conduct independent critical analysis of program assessment activities for improvements.
Develop and document investigation policies and procedures.
Create communication content for effective policy implementation.
Support timely, process-compliant investigations, collaborating with HR, Internal Audit, and Corporate Security.
Provide timely guidance on Ethics & Compliance matters, including contract reviews and Conflict of Interest inquiries.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
University degree or technical diploma in a related field. 
Minimum of 4 years related experience with a degree or 7 years with a diploma. 
Broad understanding of Ethics & Compliance operations, policies, laws, and regulations. Ability to build successful relationships and effective presentation skills.
Prior knowledge/experience in investigations and root cause analysis with integrity and discretion.
Critical thinking to apply policies, procedures, and regulations for compliance determinations.
 
Working Conditions:
Office environment with minimal travel.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Software Developer to join our Digital team in our London office.
 
Accountabilities:
• Routinely advise on-site or vendor developers/implementation teams on coding, design, and testing/debugging standards
• Understand and help refine un-stated requirements
• Routinely deal with and resolve difficult technical issues
• Aid in the development of architectural framework and design
• Be responsible for the quality of deliverables via sign-off and problem tickets
• Evaluate and introduce new tools and techniques to the development team
• Manage technical issues and the work of other developers
• Act as a liaison with various groups including architecture, vendors, and other project teams
• Assume a technical leadership role on projects
• Exercise leadership through superior technical and domain knowledge
• Conduct regular code reviews
• Proactively identify areas for improvement, seek solutions, and make recommendations
• Lead initiatives & act as a change agent (embraces change and helps others to embrace it)
• Listen actively & suspend judgment
• Foster a spirit of creative collaboration by giving team members a common focus
• Help establish and maintain quality software architecture and implementation design for products
• Provide support to the entire project team in order to deliver
• Provide mentorship to the development team
 
Required Skills, Experience, and Qualifications:
• Post-secondary degree or technical diploma in computer science or related field is a must
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in software development
• Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills both written and verbal is required.
• Strong negotiation skills
• Strong conflict resolution skills
• Strong software development skills
• Extensive experience with design patterns
• Experience with JQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, React, and related technologies
• Experience working with responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Foundation, HTML5Boilerplate) and Object-Oriented JavaScript
• Familiarity with HTML syntax for multiple specifications, including HTML5
• Working experience with various development languages (primarily NodeJS, C#, Java, and related technologies)
• Working experience with agile software practices, including TDD/D and refactoring is a must
• Working experience of modelling techniques, including OOA/D and UML is a must
• Working experience of JavaScript, HTML, XML, web services SOA, and REST is an asset
• Working experience in Database Technologies (SQL Server / Oracle) is an asset
• Working experience with 3rd party vendors
• Leadership experience is an asset
• Prior experiences as a Business Analyst, Architect, or Project Manager are an asset.
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry is an asset
